    Every Day: Keep a lookout for board games in the snug! Gather your favourite people and settle into a game, drink in hand.

    Monday – Wednesday: Ditch the kitchen and head to your local to enjoy two gastropub classics for £25, every Monday to Wednesday. Choose from our Cumberland Sausages & Buttered Mash, 14-hour Braised Beef & Ale Pie, Aubrey Allen’s Steak Burger, Sri Lankan Sweet Potato, Spinach & Chickpea Curry or our sustainably sourced Fish & Chips.

    Wednesday – Friday: Don’t miss out on sausage o’clock! Join us at the bar, Wednesday – Friday, between 5-6pm, to enjoy a taste of Jimmy Butler’s finest sausages. Served alongside planet-saving Rubies in the Rubble ketchup. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

    Saturday: Join us for Steak Night from 5pm! Order any two steaks and enjoy a bottle of house wine on us, or £27.50 towards any bottle.

    First Sunday of Every Month: Brush up on your knowledge, gather your team, and join us for our monthly quiz night. Join us from 5:30pm, £1 per person, max 6 people per group. Call us on 01483 274922 to book in.

      British Wellingtons

      Every Wednesday to Saturday

      The return of a classic. Nothing says autumn quite like a proper Wellington.

      Aubrey Allen’s grass-fed British beef, wrapped in flaky puff pastry, with buttery mash, spinach and red wine sauce – it’s a thing of beauty. Pair with a glass of award-winning red for 36.50.

      Or go meat-free with our Celeriac & Mushroom Wellington, Olive Oil Mash & Truffle Sauce. Every bit as indulgent, for 19.50. If you’re looking to go all out with your wine choice, just take 7.50 off any glass from the list.

      They won’t be around for long, so now’s your chance to Book In and make the most of it.

        Sip & Paint in the Snug

        Spend a relaxed evening from 7-9pm with Grace and Camilla, enjoying a guided painting session with all materials provided plus a glass of fizz. Tickets are £15 — available in-house through Camilla.

          Bonfire Night

          The village Bonfire Night event takes place from 4pm, the pub will operate as usual, with eatery bookings available until 7pm. Please note: no bar bookings from 4pm onwards, and no booking required to stop by and enjoy the atmosphere.

            Black out Night

            Join us between 5–9pm for our Black Out Night — a nod to tradition as we turn the eatery into darkness and serve up wartime-themed classics. For every dish served, 25p will be donated to the Royal British Legion. Book online or call the pub quoting “Black Out Night” to reserve your table.

              Christmas Light Switch on

              From 4pm until close, enjoy the local Christmas Light Switch On with mulled wine at the outside bar and Firebird bar also open. Business as usual inside — no bar table bookings this evening, but it’s best to book ahead for dinner. No booking required to come along and join the festive fun.

                Big Christmas Quiz

                Join us for the Big Christmas Quiz on Sunday 14th December — kicking off at 5:30pm. It’s £3 per person to enter, with all proceeds going to the local air ambulance. Teams of up to 6, food served until 8pm, and plenty of festive fun. Best to book — call the pub to reserve your spot.

                  Christmas Carols

                  From 5:30pm, enjoy Christmas Carols performed by the Mike Trio Jazz Band. No bar bookings available, but book a table if you’d like to stay for dinner afterwards.

                    New Years Eve – In the wild

                    Celebrate New Year’s Eve In the Wild from 7pm to 1am with a light buffet included for just £15 per ticket. Call the pub to book your spot with Camilla. Dress up with our “something in the wild” fancy dress theme and dance the night away with DJ Gary.

                      Burn’s Night

                      Celebrate Burns Night with us from 6pm and enjoy a traditional specials board. The evening features a bagpiper, the ceremonial Address to the Haggis, and all the warmth and spirit of a true Scottish gathering.
